I grew up in Foster City and still use the Bay Area as the reference point for most things.
The Peninsula
I grew up in Foster City on the San Francisco Peninsula. Scouts, the merit-badge and Eagle track, and weekends outside were the start of the outdoors streak. Yosemite was the gateway. The Eastern Sierra is the current obsession.
Purdue
I am a junior at Purdue studying Computer and Information Technology plus Economics, with an expected graduation in May 2028. I am also part of the Purdue Outing Club and Alpha Kappa Psi.
What I build
Most of my projects start with messy data or an annoying manual loop. Kalisi maps food finds, DeDuper reviews near-duplicate photos on device, and the trip map on this site keeps fourteen field notes tied to coordinates I can inspect.
I care about the decision behind the interface. A model is more useful when its assumptions are visible, and an automation is better when a person can still tell what it did.
