Ingredients
| Kencko Protein Chocolate smoothie packet | 1 | |
|---|---|---|
| Cold water | 385 ml |
Method
- Pour the smoothie packet into your shaker bottle or a ziplock bag.
- Add 385 ml of cold water.
- Seal and shake vigorously for fifteen to twenty seconds until fully mixed.
- Let sit for one to two minutes so the powder fully hydrates.
- Shake again and drink.
A powdered packet solves the shelf-life problem no fresh fruit can—it spoils never and weighs almost nothing. The trade: it tastes like reconstituted powder, not fresh fruit, which is why you’re carrying it.
Mix at camp with cold water and you have breakfast in two minutes flat. No stove, no fuel burned, minimal cleanup. Plant-based protein covers most dietary restrictions, which matters when you’re planning trips with a group.
Packing
The packet is light and compostable. A shaker bottle adds weight—a ziplock bag and your hands work just as well.
Variations
- Stir it into warm water left over from cooking dinner for a thicker consistency.
- Add it to morning oatmeal instead of mixing with water.
- Try the fruit-only varieties if you want fewer calories and different nutrition.
